Ann Heatherington

Vice President, Strategic Marketing

Ann Heatherington is Vice President of Strategic Marketing for Hammer Haley, joining the firm in the fall of 2011. She leads the Hammer Haley Diversity Initiative, which incorporates special events, social media and dynamic content to enhance communication and encourage collaboration between corporate growth teams, Diversity and HR officers, management consultants and top-tier MBA programs.

Prior to joining Hammer Haley, Ann was the global head of Marketing for First Advantage Litigation Consulting, a division of First American Corporation with offices in the U.S., U.K., Europe and Asia. Ann came to First Advantage from Discovery Mining where she was the Director of Corporate Sales, NE, spearheading business development with Fortune 500 legal departments. During her tenure, Discovery Mining was named #188 on the 2007 Inc. 500 list of fastest growing companies, and was successfully sold in 2008.

Before entering the technology sector, Ann was Director of Sales, Special Events at ALM, award-winning publisher of the National Law Journal, American Lawyer, Corporate Counsel and law.com. She moved into the sales role after several years as a project manager, ultimately with NorthStar Conferences, a subsidiary of the AICPA, the world's largest accounting association. During that time, she produced over 60 executive-level conferences, established dozens of strategic alliances and produced custom events for Baker & McKenzie LLP, Seyfarth Shaw LLP, Redwood Capital and others.

Ann also produces arts and performance events. Most recently, Ann was the NYC-based Executive Producer and Host of Literary Death Match, a reading series-meets-game show that has logged over 150 events in 35 cities worldwide.

Ann earned a B.S. from Northwestern University in Theatre and English in Writing.
