Mike Gozon and Chris Todd, the managing partners based our firm's thesis for confining our endeavors to the market's elite, from both a 'candidate elite' and best-of-breed client perspective on the premise that there was an unmet market demand for these services. The early days of Hammer Haley are best summed up from a quote attributable to Marvin Bower of McKinsey fame, 1957,
"Our optimism about the future was based on a solid belief in the need for our type of service and our capacity to deliver it.
